“What to Expect When You Are Expecting” may very well be the most trusted parenting brand of all time. How did Mary and Joseph raise Jesus and his siblings without the definitive book on what to expect while expecting? No clue, but they managed, somehow. Ever wonder what they were expecting?
Angels appeared to them and broke the news but did they have any way to anticipate how much everything was about to change? Not only was their world about to change, but the entire world was about to change. When Mary found herself expecting Jesus did she have any clue what she and the rest of the world would soon experience? When Joseph chose to stay with her did he understand what that would mean for he and the rest of his family? Did either really know what to expect that first Christmas?
