Christ Covenant Church Leadership
Christ Covenant Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Corey Miller
Minister of Preaching & Leadership
I seek to live, love and lead like Jesus. I answered that call in 1978 and have devoted my life to this purpose. I'm fortunate to have trained for ministry at Nebraska Christian College (now part of Hope International University) and Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan University. I came to CCC in 2021 during a pandemic after preaching for 20 years in churches in Carroll, IA and Auburn, NE. I also lead Encounter Adventure, a ministry seeking to help raise up and equip people pursuing life's greatest adventure, life with Jesus. By God's grace my wife Julie and I have raised two kids. Ian the musician/poet and Mikaela the teacher/historian/preacher. To find the Millers outside of church, check the closest good coffee shop, golf course, hiking trail or live music venue. If you don't find us there, check the local hospital or jail because something is seriously wrong.
Lindy Charles
Minister of Family and Youth Development
It is one of my greatest joys to serve God as the Minister of Youth and Family Development at Christ Covenant Church. Walking with children, teenagers, and families as they discover who God is and who he has created them to be is a true privilege. My husband Joe and I have been Married since 2000 and have two wonderful young men, Eli and Lucas. We have enjoyed living out God's call on our lives here in Beaumont since 2010 and spent nearly 7 years before that in a similar role at Christ's Church in Tiffin, OH.
Joe Charles
Minister of Praise & Worship
Joe loves Jesus, worship and famiy. He spends most of his week working for Fastenall to support his family Lindy, Eli and Lucas. He likes the Sooners and all things Lindy. Do you have a passion for worship? Talk to Joe. Maybe we can find room for you on our team or in our band, Oklahoma Joe and the Bayou Band.
Tollie Corder
Shepherd
I have been a shepherd of Christ Covenant Church since its inception in 2005. I love working with the staff and doing my part in taking care of the people in our congregation. I take my responsibilities seriously and want to be a person that is known for encouraging people to remain faithful to our faithful God. I've been married to my wife, Peggy, since 1970. We have two daughters and six grandchildren. We've lived in Beaumont since 1976.
